On-going project: Precast Large-Panel Concrete Plant
The precast Large-Panel Concrete Plant is located in Minh Khai District, Hung Yen City, 64km away from Hanoi center via Phap Van – Cau Re highway. The size of the property is 40ha, resides next to the Red River. With total investment up to 28 million $US, the precast concrete plant project is divided into two major phases of investment. In Phase I, BKI has preserved 15ha to build the plant. The total estimated investment for this period is 15 million $US. The construction work is expected to start within quarter 2 and complete in 4th quarter of 2010. The initial capacity of the plant in phase I will be 500,000 sqm of floor area per year.
In order to meet the needs of low-income worker in IPs sector , the development objectives of this phase are to build small department units around 40-60 sqm of floor area. With an estimated cost from USD 10,000 to USD 19,000 per unit, this price is reasonable for all the people.
In phase II, BKI plan to increase output to 3 000 000 m2 of floor per year.
